Pullbox And Junction Box Difference

Junction Box-----An electrical junction box is an enclosure housing electrical connections, to protect the connections and provide a safety barrier.

Pull box-----In electric wiring, a box (with a removable cover) that is inserted in one or more runs of raceway to facilitate the pulling of conductors through the raceway.

If it has splices or terminations, it is a junction box. If the conductors are pulled through without splices or terminations, it is a pull box.
